Quality is largely determined in our greenhouses. Our cultivation managers pay maximum attention to the entire growing process. Thanks to an optimal growing climate and carefully adjusted irrigation and nutrition, we can guarantee bell peppers of the highest quality.

Optimal Conditions for Growth

Bell peppers are sensitive to extreme heat, which is why we have strategically located our greenhouses near the IJsselmeer. This ensures that outdoor temperatures in the summer are often a few degrees cooler than in other parts of the country. Our greenhouses are also very tall, which helps reduce rising heat, ensuring a pleasant climate for the bell pepper plants. In addition, we have double sunshades that we can close to prevent excessive direct sunlight from reaching the bell peppers.

Careful Harvesting and Processing

Harvesting, sorting, and packaging are carried out with the utmost care. Dents and knife damage can easily occur, so we use a comprehensive track and trace system to always know who has harvested what. This allows us to intervene quickly and effectively if something does go wrong.

Timely harvesting is essential, because peppers that remain on the plant too long lose their shelf life and can develop ripeness spots. Thanks to a streamlined organization and a team of dedicated employees, we can ensure timely harvesting every day.

Our peppers are sorted using a fully automated sorting line. Quality cameras, controlled by AI software, ensure that each pepper is handled with care and meets customer requirements. This way, even the most discerning customers can count on top-quality peppers.

We can supply any packaging you desire. For flow-packing bell peppers, we have a dedicated location in North Holland, where we can produce customized mixed packaging tailored to our customers' specific needs.
